About College
The Trust started Sri Muthukumaran Medical college Hospital and Research Institute, Chikkarayapuram, Near Mangadu, Chennai-600 069 from the academic year 2010-2011 with an annual intake of 150 students in MBBS Course with the approval of Medical Council of India and Central Government and affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, this institute will fall under the category of Telugu Minority Institution.
Today the hospital and the Medical College at Chikkarayapuram are recognized as outstanding institutions and have won the appreciation of medical experts and administrators alike from the State and the Central Governments.
The College building consists of ground + 6 Floors with a built up area of 15600 sq.mts. All the Pre-clinical and Para clinical departments are accommodated in the College building. All the Departments are manned by experienced and dedicated faculty members fully conforming to the standards prescribed by the Medical Council of India.
